Golden Circle Best Employer 2024
Metropolis Security bagged the Golden Circle Employer of the Year 2024 Award, a recognition for its employee-friendly policies and practices that include wages and bonus and requirement to have passed the MOM SACE Elective and be PW Mark accredited, among others.
Metropolis Security was one of the companies recognized as a Company of Good for 2024.

Progressive Wage Mark Plus Awarded April 2024
The Progressive Wage (PW) Mark is an accreditation scheme to recognise eligible firms that pay progressive wages to lower-wage workers. It is administered by the Singapore Business Federation on behalf of the Tripartite Partners, comprising the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).
The Progressive Wage Mark Plus accreditation recognises firms that meet the eligiblity criteria for the PW Mark and also adopted the Tripartite Standard on Advancing Well-Being of Lower-Wage Workers (TS-LWW).

Outstanding Security Agency of the Year (Gold) Metropolis Security bagged the Outstanding Security Agency of the Year – Gold award at the Security Industry Transformation Awards 2024 held in January 2024.
SITA 2024: Security Training Organization (In-house/External) (Gold)
Metropolis Training Academy, the training division of Metropolis Security and one of the foremost security training institutes in Singapore, bagged the Outstanding Security Training Organization (In-house/External) Gold award at the Security Industry Transformation Awards 2024 held in January 2024.
SG Cares Giving Week – Certificate of Appreciation
Metropolis was awarded this certificate for its contribution to advocating SG Cares Giving Week through various public channels such as website, email, facebook and thus spreading the spirit of giving. Metropolis played a role in helping raise awareness and inspire more people to give back to the community.

SG Cares Giving Week 2022 Gold Partner
Metropolis Security Systems is proud to be part of SG Cares Giving Week 2022 as a Gold Partner. Together with Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore), we organised a workshop for staff volunteers to learn more about MDAS and volunteered to distribute MDAS flyers within HDB estates.
SG Cares Giving Week is a key initiative of the national SG Cares movement held annually from 1 to 7 December, that celebrates the spirit of giving and seeks to make giving part of our way of life.
Organised by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), in collaboration with SG Cares Office and National Council of Social Service (NCSS), the SG Cares Giving Week aims to inspire individuals, businesses, non-profit organisations and the community to give their best for others by sharing their Time, Talent, Treasure and Voice in support of any cause they are passionate about, in all ways, big and small. These are the little acts, when multiplied by millions, that make a world of difference.

SkillsFuture Employer Awards November 2022
Metropolis Security Systems was awarded SkillsFuture Employer Awards 2022 (Gold) by SkillsFuture Singapore and was graced by GOH President Halimah Yacob on 22 November 2022.
The SkillsFuture Employer Awards recognize exemplary employers who are strong advocates of continuous learning at the workplace, invested in their employees’ skills development, and supported national manpower objectives, such as SkillsFuture initiatives.
This is the second time that Metropolis Security Systems has been awarded since 2019.

NTUC May Day Awards May 2018
The NTUC May Day Awards are presented to deserving individuals and organisations for their outstanding contributions in making a difference to the lives of working people in Singapore. Metropolis is a proud recipient of this honour. Mr.James Soh received the award on behalf of the company from Mr.Chan Chun Sing, NTUC Secretary-General.
SACE 2022 and 2021 Report Card
SACE has replaced the former Security Agencies Grading Exercise from 1 January 2022. Under SACE, security agencies will be assessed on Core and Elective Competencies. Security agencies must attain a “pass” in all Core Competencies to be eligible for a one-year licence. Agencies will be evaluated for Elective Competencies to be eligible for a two-year licence upon attaining a ‘pass’ in at least 5 Elective Competencies.
OCBC’s Green Initiative Program
Metropolis Security Systems had completed the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Energy Efficiency Assessment (SMEEA) for our operations branch office units. This assessment will generate an energy efficiency report which can be use to gauge the property’s energy savings against BCA benchmarks.
The SMEEA certified that our office units saves more than 60% of energy consumption over the 2005 code compliant building and saves more than 30% of energy consumption over the energy benchmarking baseline. This certified that Metropolis office is energy efficient and we are align with Singapore’s sustainable movement.
Together, Metropolis Security Systems is working towards a more sustainable Singapore.
