Metropolis Security wins “Workplace Learning Organisation of Competence (Gold)” 

We are proud to be a recipient of the “Workplace Learning Organisation of Competence (Gold)” award at the National Workplace Learning (NWPL) Certification Award Ceremony 2025 held yesterday. This is a step up for us from the “Competence” award we won in 2022 and reflects our steadfast commitment to continuous learning and skill development for our staff.  

Mr.James Soh, our founder & Director, received the award from Guest of Honour Dr.Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

Our General Manager Randy Ang also participated in an expert panel discussion, where he shared insights on how Metropolis built its talent pool through workplace learning and used technology to drive business innovation and productivity.

The NWPL Certification Award Ceremony is part of the Human Capital Conference 2025 jointly organised by Singapore Business Federation (SBF), SkillsFuture Singapore(SSG) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP).

The annual SO Day Awards ceremony, co-organised by SAS and Temasek Polytechnic-Security Industry Institute, was graced by Guest of Honour, Mr Shawn Huang, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Manpower, among other dignitaries as well as key stakeholders, management and staff of security agencies in Singapore.
